Baked potato with veggies and “cheesy” sauce without all the fat! Oh and an added veggie fruit smoothie. Learning to make good choices to select low glycemic index foods and reverse diabetes.

After 108 days and 2,300 miles of walking through eight states, we have finally reached our nation’s capital. This is a profound and sacred milestone on our journey for peace.

Thank you to Virginia for your beautiful welcome and warm hospitality. Thank you to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina for opening your hearts and roads to us. Each state has blessed us with kindness, support, and love beyond measure.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for everyone who has walked with us—whether in person or in spirit—through every state, every mile, and every single step of the way.
