About the Owner:

Robin Rodriguez-Higginbottom is a native Oklahoman and a Nationally Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). She attained her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and Oklahoma State Licensure from the Oklahoma Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (OBESPA). Robin attended Northeastern State Un

iversity (NSU) in Tahlequah, OK, where in 2003, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In 2005, Robin achieved her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology also from Northeastern State University. Robin is a dynamic practitioner with over 15 years of experience. She earned her Oklahoma Teaching Certificate and provided Speech and Language Therapy to students in the public school setting (grades preschool-12th grade) before moving to the medical realm of Speech-Language Pathology. Robin is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Medical Speech-Language Pathologists (OAMSLP), and served as Lead Speech-Language Pathologist in a community hospital for 6 years. She also traveled as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist to health-care facilities throughout the state of Oklahoma for two years. Robin enjoys providing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. Her clinical expertise includes:
Speech, language, and dysphagia (swallowing therapy) in the rehabilitation, out patient, in patient, home health, long term acute care (LTAC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), and private practice settings. She and her family proudly make their home in northeastern Oklahoma.

This is our Student Intern for the semester, Mr. Chris Holland. Chris has fit in very well with our clinic family! He has shown repeatedly his commitment to our patients and their families in assisting them with techniques to overcome their communication challenges and improve their quality of life.

Mr. Chris is a military veteran. (Whoohoo!!)
He credits a large part of his resilience, discipline, and deep sense of responsibility to others being shaped by this experience. To continue his service to others, Mr. Chris has dedicated his passion to becoming an SLP! (And he's going to be a GREAT one!)

Chris is a very proud father of a high school senior. He is quite the researcher and a wealth of knowledge. But don't let his quiet demeanor fool you, Mr. Chris has jokes and makes us laugh everyday!

We have enjoyed your rotation with us, Mr. Chris and will appreciate the time we have left with you this second half of your internship with us!
