🌺 It’s never “Goodbye,” but a hui hou (until we meet again…) 🌺

We’re sending our love and best wishes to our ASC Scrub Technician, Jocelyn, as she begins a new adventure after getting married and moving to the mainland. 💍✈️

Jocelyn has been a true “boomerang” member of our Hawaiian Eye Center ‘ohana — first joining us in 2004, and again in 2020 until her departure in 2025. Through the years, her steady hands, expertise, and warm heart have touched the lives of so many patients and teammates. 💙

While we’ll miss her presence in the clinic, we’re so grateful for the years we’ve shared and the legacy she leaves behind.

Please join us in sending aloha to our Front Desk Patient Services Representative, Samantha, as she begins a new chapter of service and growth. 💙

August 15, 2025, was her last day with Hawaiian Eye Center, and while we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly proud of her decision to join the military and begin basic training.

Samantha’s warmth, kindness, and dedication made every patient feel welcome the moment they walked through our doors. Her bright smile and caring spirit will surely be missed by our entire team and our patients alike.

Our Story

For over 44 years, Hawaiian Eye Center's mission has been to provide first-class medical and surgical eye care to the people of Hawaii. Our legacy began in October 1975 when founder John Corboy, M.D., who now heads the nonprofit Hawaiian Eye Foundation, opened the first Hawaiian Eye Center office. He helped establish our drive to bring the most advanced technology to our patients and opened the first outpatient eye surgical facility in Hawaii. He began our quest to provide modern advanced outpatient eye surgery and high-quality care with a personal touch.

Hawaiian Eye Center continues to provide top-notch eye care with a wide range of services, including eye exams, care of chronic eye diseases, surgery for cataracts and glaucoma and even transportation to and from our surgical facility for those who need it.
