JOIN US! Please consider showing up tomorrow at the Twin Town Skate Park in Breckenridge to participate in a fun family-friendly 1st Annual 5K ON WHEELS!
This is a fundraiser to keep efforts to build phase 2 of the skatepark going forward! Registration will be 5-6 with a 6 PM start time!
There will be event T-shirts honoring a very special young man for sale at the event, and great prize drawings at 7pm.
I love that you can walk or roll! Bring your bike, skateboard, your rollerblades, strollers, wheelchairs… your tennis shoes work just fine too! 😜
*We have also been given a match grant and all proceeds will be eligible to meet our match and maximize our funds! 😍

🎒⏰ Lunch Buddies is Starting Soon - Apply Today! ⏰🥪

Ready to make a real difference in a child's life? Lunch Buddies is just around the corner, and we need YOU to step up as a mentor!

What is Lunch Buddies?
It’s a simple but powerful program where adults meet with elementary students during their lunch period twice a month to chat, play games, do crafts, and create meaningful connections. A few hours a month = lasting impact! 🌟

📣 We Need Mentors!
We can only serve as many students as we have mentors. Your time can create lifelong change for a child! 💙

💡 Don't wait to make a lasting positive impact for our local youth! The program begins soon but it is never too late to apply to be a mentor so apply today!
We’re looking for caring adults to mentor students at Wahpeton (3rd-5th grades) and Breckenridge (3rd grade).

Commitment:
Meet twice a month during lunch (October–May). Pack or buy lunch. Semi-Flexible — substitute mentors available if needed! (But consistency has the BEST impact for a child)

🌱 Why It Matters:
92% of parents report improvements in their child’s attitude and school behavior!
85% saw a boost in grades, social skills, and respect.

This girl. ❤️ In 3 years we have traveled a lot of life & Kinship miles together. Marie cares deeply, is relationship driven, organized, wise, intentional, fun & so generous with her many skills; she makes all things pretty and more efficient ….She has loved & elevated this organization well, and I am so thankful that she will stay involved, although at a lesser capacity.
