She began her academic journey at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. In addition, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology during her time there. Following graduation, Dr. Hornstein relocated to Wahpeton, North Dakota—her husband Jason’s hometown—where she established Hornstein Family Chiropractic in March 2005. Her clinic was founded with a strong emphasis on family-centered care, a passion that has driven her professional development and continuing education. Dr. Hornstein has completed extensive postdoctoral training in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care. In 2007, she earned her certification in pregnancy and pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is currently pursuing a diplomate in the same specialty. With a special interest in supporting children—from newborns to teenagers—Dr. Hornstein is committed to helping young patients achieve optimal growth, development, and academic success. She also provides comprehensive care to expectant mothers, supporting their journey through pregnancy with a focus on comfort, natural labor, and healthy delivery outcomes. In addition to her family-focused practice, Dr. Hornstein treats individuals of all ages and a wide range of conditions. She is certified in chiropractic acupuncture, which she integrates into her practice as a complementary modality to support the body’s natural healing processes. Dr. Hornstein employs a holistic and conservative approach to health and wellness. Her individualized treatment plans may include manual and activator chiropractic techniques, craniosacral therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and orthotic support. She is committed to guiding each patient toward improved health—mind, body, and spirit.
