An update from your Wahi Hoʻōla ʻohana:

By the end of 2025, Leilani will be transitioning out of co-ownership to focus on her esthetics studio. This shift supports both her path and the studio’s growth.

What’s changing: our ownership structure
What’s NOT changing: everything you love about this place

Your yoga classes, teachers, massage services, and memberships all stay exactly as they are. Leilani will still be teaching and around the studio—just channeling more energy into esthetics work.

This isn’t about conflict or loss. It’s about two people choosing what feels right for their individual paths while protecting what we’ve built together.

🌿 Meet Dr. Olivia 🌿

Say Aloha to our newest teacher: Dr. Olivia Gomez. She recently opened up her chiropractic space in Wailuku and her approach to caring for the community was so aligned with ours that having her join our ‘Ohana was a natural fit.

Even her logo represents where she starts each of her clients’: with the breath.

Head to the cool "Upcountry" of Maui to hike the Kahakapao Loop Trail. This trail is located in the Makawao Forest Reserve, a special place that was established in 1908 to protect the island's watershed. While the forest is filled with towering non-native trees like eucalyptus and pine, you can still spot native plants like the 'ōhi'a lehua, a tree with vibrant red blossoms, and the kupukupu fern. The loop is a favorite of both hikers and mountain bikers, so be sure to share the trail and keep an eye out for others.

Elevation gain: 1,233ft

This is a well-maintained trail looping through the forest in Makawao Forest Reserve. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. The area is popular with several user groups, so expect to see hikers along with bikers on the trail. If you're a wildflower enthusiast, there are plenty of beautiful flowers to see along the trail.
