Bridget taught on Oahu awhile before Maui over 20+ years on and off. Her loves are: open ocean swimming, reading, hula, working on my conversational Japanese, recently returned to paddling, but most of all animals and anything to try heal mama earth.

Bridget subs often for her fellow teachers at Wahi Ho’ōla and you can catch her at her regular spot Thursdays at 8:30 am for Pilates.

One of the most powerful forces aside from nature is community. As Maui and the other islands recover from the recent Kona Low storms, it is the helping hands of our neighbors near and far that make the biggest difference.

Wahi Ho’ōla translates to a place of healing so when one of our member’s home flooded we asked how we can help. This fundraising will go directly to helping them replace personal belongings, start mold remediation, and replace flooring and repaint walls.

This member does not have Venmo and we did not want any fees to be taken from the donations via GoFundMe, so donations can be sent to the studio owner’s Venmo account with “Flood Relief” in the “What’s this for” section -DiLiberto-1 📲

100% of all donations will go to this grateful studio member who works with the county of Maui helping to lower the population of invasive fire ants on island.

We especially appreciate donations from those overseas, reminding us that even though we experienced the devastation of this storm as an island, we don’t have to rebuild and recover alone ❤️‍🩹

Yoga was the seed to the beautiful forest of friendships that have bloomed since we opened in July 2022. We are so grateful for every student that has walked through our doors to create much needed healing energy for the world and each other.

Meet Jany!

Jany has been part at Wahi Ho’ōla since day 1 and even helped paint the walls of the studio. When she’s not teaching yoga she loves line dancing, board games, and eating pho.

She started her own donation based yoga classes called JOY = Jany Outdoor Yoga which is currently every 1st Friday of each month at Waihe’e Beach Park. For updates and details on classes follow her .

She has a special 90 minute Vinyasa class this Sunday at the studio, March 8th (tomorrow!) 9:30 am. It is open to the public for $35 or free for members and class pack holders.

Wahi Ho’ōla is her hOMe studio, where she goes to feel connected, loved, and inspired and she hopes that’s how every student feels after leaving the studio.
