Due to the weather alert issued for Maui County and the potential for high winds and heavy rain, we want to let our families know that we plan to remain open tomorrow as healthcare services are considered essential.

However, the safety of our families and staff is our top priority. If travel conditions make it difficult to come to the clinic, teletherapy appointments will be available.

If you would prefer to switch your child’s visit to teletherapy, please contact our front desk and we will be happy to help.

Helping Children Reach New Heights

The work of our Organization is aimed at providing therapeutic services to children with disabilities and developmental delays, in a convenient and affordable way. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, I have been working with children on Maui for the past 7 years, in Early Intervention, schools, and outpatient settings and am passionate about helping children achieve their goals. It became blatantly obvious that Maui did not have enough pediatric providers and many children were not receiving the services they needed. Early Intervention offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech services from 0-3 years old and then the Department of Education offers services to children from 3-21, but often are unable to offer enough services to meet all their needs. Children who do not qualify for DOE services or need more therapy outside of school have very limited options. Currently, there are no other pediatric Physical Therapists, and limited Occupational and Speech Therapists on island. I decided to do something about this and started Pediatric Therapies Hawaii to help fill this need. I am excited to contribute to our community in this way and provide these much needed services.
