Our participants were very excited to go to O’ahu for Day at the Capitol 2026.

The theme for this year’s Day at the Capitol was submitted by our very own participant, Lynnell! Her message was:

"We all have different faces, come from different places, and all of our voices shall be heard.”

Congratulations, Nellie, on an awesome job! We are so proud of you and the powerful message you shared. 🌟

Participants also got to testify before Representatives Marten and Takeyama! They did amazing and showed such confidence, passion, and courage. Fantastic job everyone! 👏👏👏

We hit a major milestone in 2025 by shredding nearly 250,000 pounds of documents, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of the Bendon Foundation and Hawaiian Electric Industries Charitable Foundation (HEICF) 🙏 The Bendon Foundation helped us launch this amazing program, and HEICF's generous donation took it to the next level by expanding our services and creating jobs! Today is one of our favorite traditions of the year, our annual Client Christmas Party at Manoli's Pizza Company in Wailea!

Our clients look forward to this special gathering every holiday season, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate together. It’s always a joyful time filled with delicious food, fun games, laughter, and plenty of dancing.

We’re so grateful for the relationships we’ve built and the community we get to share these moments with.

This is Sam, he helps with trash pickup at Kanaha Beach Park 🤙 For over 20 years, he’s been a dedicated part of the Ka Lima O Maui team working hard to keep the beach park clean 💪

Programs like AbilityOne create opportunities across federal, state, and county agencies, helping thousands of people with disabilities find meaningful employment.

Meet Panui 👋 She serves as both an administrative assistant and a key leader within Ka Lima O Maui. Beyond her administrative duties, Panui takes on the critical role of supervising the staff in our laundry and shredding department 👩🏻‍💻📄 Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence ensure the smooth and effective operation of these essential functions.
