You know, sometimes thereās little things in life that happen to just remind us exactly who we are and what our place is in life.
Yesterday I went to deliver leis , flower petals and eco urn (puāolo)to the boat for a family who is going to do an ash scattering, but did not order a minister for their service. The minister is usually me as well. I went in my regular clothes with nothing special, but when I got there, they were not about to leave the dock without me on the boat to do the ceremony. I didnāt have any of my ceremonial tools nor was I even dressed properly because I had just been cleaning the house. And add on top of that, I have laryngitis/bronchitis which affects talking and definitely chanting or blowing a shell.
But if thereās anything that I have learned in this life, is that if you work for spirit, and God is your boss, your job is to be willing at all times no matter what the situation. So I went on the boat and it was one of the most amazing ceremonies. I did not have my shell to blow, but they happened to bring one of their own, and I got to explain and teach them about conch blowing which was so incredibly special to them.
In life all we need is to be grateful, show up and be willing to do as we are led by spirit. Donāt overthink and NEVER hesitate when itās for the highest around best for ALL.
