Sister Soap Shop luffa soaps are handmade in Maui, Hawai'i. They are made from an all-natural vegetable glycerin with a slice of vegetable luffa in the center. The combination of glycerin and coconut oil produces a moisturizing soap that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. The luffa in the center exfoliates the skin and eliminates the need for a washcloth. The luffa soaps are hand cut and wrapped individually with a label on the back. The colors are custom-made and may vary from the image due to the handmade soap making process. The wetter the luffa gets the more it softens. We advise that you get the luffa wet and do not use it dry. For those with sensitive skin, we suggest that you use the soap lightly at first until it softens. Some find that they like the product drier in order to use it as a scrub on the feet or hands. Each soap weighs just under five ounces, is four inches in diameter, and is just shy of one inch thick.

So, I figured you all might be interested in knowing I am passionate about producing a beautiful soap that stands out amongst the rest, even the wrapping gotta look great! I mix my colours to achieve the desired hue, like an artist creating a painting. I hand cut them.. measure them, wrap them.i work with vegetable glycerin and goats milk glycerin. Luffah is a food, related to squash, grows on a vine. Now you know it doesn't come from the sea, it's a plant, not a sea creature. My scents are quite lovely and mostly tropical.. so you will remember where you were, when you got them. 😊

summer vacations, maui, bring some of it home with you in the fragrances of my kosher glycerin, natural luffa ( a fruit, not a sea animal) when you get here! I'm at the Hyatt hotel, Ka'anapali on fridays... 9:30-2:00 pm. :))
