Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii Our goal is to improve the minds and bodies of our riders, using our horses as therapy tools.

Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii’s goal is to improve the minds and bodies of our riders, using our horses as therapy tools. Our riders build strength in their bodies by learning to groom, saddle and ride. They improve their attitude by learning from our horses and receiving unconditional love that only animals can provide. Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii specializes in riding instruction for the disabled, but provides instruction to riders of any ability.

Hey gang, things have gone from bad to worse here, but we are all safe. Me and rhe minis are in the barn and the goats are destroying my recently cleaned and organized tack room. The truck and van were evacuated this morning. The new office has taken on water and we will have some pretty significant losses, but nobody has drowned. I know there are lots of places in the same boat as us (pun possibly intended) but if you have any time to help with clean up if this storm ever ends, please let me know!

If you hear that the highway outside the polo field is closed due to downed trees, dont worry, we are ok! The trees fell on the road side. We have some significant water in the ditch, but keeping fingers crossed that it doesnt flood. Tack event is canceled for Saturday and likely there will be no lessons either but feel free to check in.

POSTPONED TO NEXT WEEKEND DUE TO THE WEATHER! On Saturday March 14th we will be tossing everything in our storage shed into the yard! Saddles, bridles, pads, riding pants, boots, grooming tools, some stuff we don't even know what it is . . . take whatever you want and make a donation! Come and check it out!
