Mental health counseling center seeking a FT or PT individual with medical coding/billing experience.

Responsibilities:
- Insurance billing & follow up on unpaid/denied claims.
- Direct patient collections.
- Data entry.
- Charge/payment posting.
- Patient/insurance inquiries regarding billing issues.
- Verify eligibility of patient’s insurance.
- Handle prior authorizations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Experience in medical coding, billing, & dealing with insurance companies.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to take initiative & work independently.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Dependable with friendly attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in the mental health field desirable.
- Experience with Practice Fusion PM desirable.

Ho’okō is seeking PT/FT qualified and licensed mental health professionals such as Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors no, Licensed Psychologists, etc. to provide assessments and ongoing counseling services for individuals, couples and families.

Minimum 2 years post-license counseling experience preferred and must be licensed in the State of Hawaii.

Licensed therapists will work with a wide range of populations such as trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, faith-based, addictions, relationship/family issues, grief/loss, military, depression/anxiety, child welfare, and court-related cases.

Work hours are flexible Monday through Sunday (day and evening hours). Pay is based on a fee-for-service scale.

OFFICE MANAGER - Full-Time

Privately-owned & operated mental health counseling center in Waipio Gentry is seeking a full-time office manager to ensure all administrative, operational, and patient tasks are managed on a day-to-day basis. The office manager will also assist, oversee, and supervise the scheduling of appointments, data entry, and other office/admin duties. Candidate is to have strong communication skills and ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an administrative position, preferably in a medical, clinical or private practice setting. Minimum 1 year of experience of office/administrative supervision. Must have computer experience using MS Word & Excel. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) a plus.
