The positive impact of getting up and moving on brain health cannot be understated. We aren't meant to be sedentary; movement is essential to the development of young brains and the well-being of older ones.
Any amount of exercise will help. For most adults, 22 minutes a day of low-intensity activity is where they will get noticeable benefits. A short walk, dancing with your kids, or parking in the back of the lot all add up to increased cognitive function and improved mental health.
