🌙Compassion After Hours: Meet Katherine (Kat)
At Rejuv Medical, Kat leads the fitness team—but her passion for helping others extends far beyond the gym.
As Fitness Manager, Kat brings over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry. She was introduced to Rejuv through a friend and quickly became a driving force in helping clients build strength, improve movement, and take ownership of their health.
Her work is rooted in more than just workouts—it’s about empowering people to feel capable, confident, and strong in their own bodies.
Supporting Those Who Served
Outside of Rejuv, Kat dedicates much of her time to supporting veteran-focused organizations, including Roger Up, Team RWB, Catch-A-Lift, Mission 22, and the VA.
Her connection to this work runs deep.
As the daughter of a career U.S. Navy sailor, and someone whose first job was in military fitness, Katherine has always been closely tied to the military community. Today, alongside her partner Rick Jensen, a retired Army Infantryman, that connection continues to shape her volunteer efforts.
“I have a soft spot for veteran causes—especially when it comes to women veterans and su***de prevention.”
Through these organizations, Katherine helps support both the physical and mental well-being of veterans, advocating for stronger communities and better resources for those who have served.
💪 Building a Healthier Community
Kat’s impact doesn’t stop there.
She is also actively involved with Active Central Minnesota, where she is serving as this year’s Fitness Expo Coordinator. Her goal is simple: get more people in the community moving, engaged, and prioritizing their health.
In addition, she frequently volunteers at CrossFit competitions—often stepping in as a judge when she’s not competing herself. One of the largest organizations she has judged for is Big Impact out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she’s had the opportunity to work alongside top-level athletes.
🔗 The Connection
For Kat, the connection between her work at Rejuv and her volunteer efforts is clear.
“There is strong evidence connecting movement of the body and mind to improved mental health and longevity.”
Whether she’s working with clients, supporting veterans, or helping organize community fitness events, the mission stays the same—help people move better, feel better, and live healthier lives.
Her role at Rejuv also allows her to extend that impact into the broader community.
“Rejuv has a physical presence in the community—not just for better health outcomes, but to remind people that we are here, we’re accessible, and we’re open to everyone.”
