Did you know that Friday, May 2nd is School Lunch Hero Day? We would love to have our friends color a page for our staff! Our heros LOVE to feed your kiddos and work hard every day to bring you children good healthy meals! Do you have a favorite memory of a school lunch hero growing up? Please share!

Growing up our school lunch heroes always had a big smile on their faces and knew so many of my classmates names! We could always see how they were having fun in the kitchen! The kitchen always seemed like a mysterious place!

Ramadan is a month of fasting for our Muslim families. For the first time, meals will be available to take home for fasting students observing Ramadan at North, South, Apollo, Tech, McKinley and Kennedy (grades 6th-8th). Bagged meals will be available for pickup each day after school, March 10-27, for students who've fasted and have not eaten school breakfast or lunch.

Students can enter the cafeteria of their school before leaving at the end of the day and record their lunch number to receive both a breakfast and a lunch.
