One of the things I take seriously as the owner of Mountain Rose is that our services are for everyone.
Everyone.
Sometimes, especially in today’s world, you have to choose between attending a yoga class and groceries. Between acupuncture treatments and filling your car up.
As a business owner, I have to make these decisions as well. It’s no secret that for many of us, the winter months were HARD this year. Financially, spiritually, physically, mentally.
If we pull back a bit further, being a person in the world is hard right now. Society tells us that it’s not okay to struggle, that you’re a failure if you’re having a hard time. You need to deal with it yourself and figure it out. Bootstraps, and all that.
It’s simply not true. Now, more than ever, we need community to lift us up and keep us all safe, healthy, and centered.
In May, Mountain Rose will begin to offer financial aid for yoga and acupuncture services. There are many who might feel that yoga and acupuncture “aren’t in their budget” at this time, and given expenses today, they’re right. We hope that by taking away some of the financial barriers to yoga and acupuncture for those who truly need it, we can give back to our community in some small way.
Ana is looking into ways for others to give back to the community as well - if you want to “pay it forward” to help cover costs of memberships and treatments, keep an eye out as we roll the program out in May!
Remember - If you continue to pour from an empty cup, everyone goes thirsty. Fill your cup so you can continue to pour into others, and we’ll do our best to continue to pour into you.
