Had a great turnout for our combined training with Bremen Fire Dept. We were able to do some extrication training and ambulance familiarization with the firefighters.

For our 26 year celebration, we invited our employees to come and enjoy a night at the South Bend Cubs game! We had a blast and appreciate all that our employees do for us!

Tri-County celebrated Kim Whitsel's retirement the other week. We are so thankful for all of her dedication over the years. She will be missed and hopefully she stops by from time to time.

Here is a note from Kim:

I can't believe I've been here 24 yrs and 34 yrs in EMS. I would like to say that has been my entire life, 34yrs, but someone might do the math. Haha. It's a little hard knowing that I just put on my Tri- County uniform for the last time. Sad, but who am I kidding, I'll put it on just to come visit. I have to admit this is probably the most bittersweet moment I have ever experienced in my life. To say this has been one crazy life of a career is an understatement. There were very few times that I didn't want to
come to work. Tri-County is a rare breed of a company to work for. What I mean by that, is that it is top notch. Todd built this company on compassion and he has never wavered from that. Hopefully all of you have read the Tri-County Mission, that truly says it all. Through the years I have seen many come and go. We have had fun, laughs, good times, bad times and some sad times, but Tri-County always stays strong. I wish I could mention each and every-one of you, just know that each of you
made some impact on my life and I'm so grateful for that.

Tri-County held our first 1st Annual Timed Fitness Test. We had 26 participants this year. Each person that completed the test in 8 minutes or less received a healthcare credit or $100 gift card.

Wrapped up our 2025 Wildland Fire Conference a couple weeks ago. We had the opportunity to have REMS team conduct real-world scenarios as well as instructors from all over the country teaching on EMS Wildland Fire operations, foot care/prevention, and Red Card certifications.

Thank you to the instructors, participants and the crews that covered so we could conduct this training!
