We kicked off the weekend with a little on the back porch!

Residents enjoyed a fresh veggie plate with ranch and a soft drink while soaking in the beautiful weather. We loved watching the kids ride their bikes home from school and waving to all the children on the passing buses. It was the perfect afternoon of sunshine, smiles, and social time!

We always love when Emily from the Potawatomi Zoo comes!

This time, she brought in a chicken, a turtle and a skunk. We learned that the chicken’s name is Marnee, she lays one egg every day, and eats bugs and leftover food. The turtle’s name is Flip Jack, he eats catus, lettuce and leafy greens. The skunk’s name is Sassy, she loves to eat peanuts, cat food, dog food, fruits and vegetables. 🐓🐢🦨

Yesterday was . 🏋️‍♀️

We are very fortunate to have a wonderful volunteer, Lois Meissner, who runs our exercise class here every day! We start with colorful stretch bands to get warmed up, followed by exercises, and toss the ball around to finish up the class.

We love starting our days with Lois!
