We had so much fun with you all.

Our second annual Alumni Block Party was everything we hoped for—joyful, emotional, and full of connection. We played water balloon kickball, ate incredible food from , wore custom shirts from (alumni sweatshirts coming soon 👀), and took over the lot thanks to the support of every business in our complex.

But what really stood out? You.

To our alumni:
You were kind, generous, and so full of heart. Your words moved us—more than one staff member cried (though they may be reluctant to admit it). You reminded us why this work matters. We’re honored to know you, and even more honored to watch you grow. Our love for you doesn’t expire. Not when treatment ends. Not when things get hard. Not ever.

To families, friends, siblings (and fur siblings):
You’ve supported your human through moments that weren’t easy. You’ve shown up in ways that made healing possible—because healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens with support. With presence. With love that keeps showing up, even when things are messy. We see you. We’re grateful for you. And we know that ending the stigma around mental health isn’t something any of us can do alone. We do it together—as a community

To our community partners:
Thank you for making room—literally and figuratively—for teens to return and be themselves. Your support helps us create spaces that feel safe, fun, and real.

We hope this event set you up for a great school year. We can’t wait to see you at the next one.

💛 If you haven’t been getting alumni updates and want to, message us directly—we’ll make sure you’re looped in.

There’s nothing more powerful than real stories. In our work, real stories are the heart of what we do, and thanks to Sloane Heffernan and the Storymore team, we get to share an authentic glimpse into what makes Bright Path Behavioral Health so special.

Our new client testimonial video brings to life the healing, growth, and connection that happen here every day. It captures the heart of our program—the teens, families, and team members who make healing and growth possible every day. Their stories are real, their journeys are inspiring, and we’re so grateful to be part of them.

Those who joined us for the Bright Path Experience on February 24th got a special first look, and now we’re so excited to share it with everyone!

Check out the video and see what Bright Path is all about! We hope you love it as much as we do!

At Bright Path Behavioral Health, we’re always looking for new ways to support our teens—and this time, they led the way! Horticultural therapy is officially joining our curriculum, thanks to a request from our teens for more hands-on, nature-based activities to support their mental health.

If you attended the Bright Path Experience, you had the chance to meet our incredible community partner, Marcia Lilley from Courage To Grow. We’re thrilled to share that Marcia is now officially joining us as our Horticultural Therapist, combining her expertise and passion with ours!

Horticultural therapy is more than just gardening—it’s an evidence-based approach to fostering mindfulness, resilience, and emotional well-being. Through nurturing plants, creating green spaces, and connecting with nature, our teens will cultivate growth in more ways than one.

We can’t wait to see our teens—and their plants—thrive.

🎶 BIG NEWS: Music Therapy is Here! 🎶
You asked, we listened! Our teens requested music therapy, and we made it happen—because your voice matters.

Music therapy isn’t just playing instruments or making playlists—it’s real therapy, backed by science, and proven to help with emotional expression, stress reduction, and healing. At Bright Path, we’re all about a holistic, teen-centered approach, and this addition reflects our commitment to responding to our community’s needs.

We can’t wait to see the impact this brings! Special thank you to our Registered Music Therapist Hanna Flood-Lorbacher from Reharmonized Music Therapy! Drop a 🎵 if you’re as excited as we are! 💜

At Bright Path, we are committed to listening, growing, and evolving to best support the teens and families we serve. As part of this mission, we’re making room to enhance the experience for teens stepping down from PHP and those entering a higher level of care for the first time. We want to give each teen a structured, intentional path that meets them where they are and guides them forward with clarity and purpose. As we move forward, we’re excited to introduce our two specialized Intensive Outpatient Program tracks designed to meet teens at different points in their mental health journey:

🌊 River Path (New to IOP) – Encourages adaptability and learning to go with the flow, helping teens ease into IOP, develop resilience, and manage emotions like a steady current.

🌅 Horizon Path (Step-Down IOP) – Focuses on hope and renewal, supporting teens transitioning from PHP to IOP by reinforcing independence, self-regulation, and long-term emotional well-being.

Learn more about the new and enhanced curriculum by connecting with out Director of Strategic Impact and Outreach Abigail Krieck or call admissions at (919) 276-4005 to make a referral!

Intensive Treatment in a Warm, Supportive Environment

This program was born out of love. Our staff is passionate not just about mental health and excellent treatment, but about relationships, connection and being human. We want to include your teen in that experience--the experience that it’s okay to be who they are. Struggling and growing is best done in a safe, accepting environment.
