A private service with military honors was held Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 12:00pm in the Bright Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Dignified Transfer/Honor Walk to the Bright Funeral Home Crematory, located on our property , in honor of SFC Clinton James Bonnell, US Army, Ret.

We felt that SFC Bonnell deserved a dignified transfer to our crematory, as he served our country. At Bright Funeral Home, we strive to ensure that our veterans receive the respect and care they deserve.

I would like to extend my personal gratitude to Randy Bright for his assistance, as well as the Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion posts from several counties and towns, the Wake Forest Police Department, the Wake Forest Fire Department, Jamie Massey, Harold Woodlief, Ryan Keith, Chris Haley, Ellis Rhodes and many others who made this mission possible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts as well as SFC Bonnell’s family!
