Helping your child become a nose breather is one of the most powerful things you can do for their long-term health. šØš
Nose breathing supports proper facial development, better sleep, stronger immunity, and improved focus and behavior. Mouth breathing, on the other hand, can lead to a narrow jaw, crowded teeth, enlarged tonsils, restless sleep, and even delayed growth.
As parents, thereās so much we can do to support nasal breathing:
āļø Encourage lips closed and tongue up
āļø Limit thumb sucking and pacifier use
āļø Treat allergies or congestion early
āļø Create routines that support deep, restful sleep
āļø Get to the root of why mouth breathing is happening
If you notice your child sleeping with their mouth open, snoring, grinding, or struggling with attention during the day ā these are all signs worth exploring.
We're here to help you uncover whatās going on and support your childās growth from the inside out. š§ š¦·šæ
