Peace doesn’t always arrive with sunshine.
Sometimes it rolls in slowly…
on a breeze after thunder,
on a lake after chaos,
in your heart after you finally let go.

I truly believe that every person who shows up for a sound bath—whether they were invited by a friend or followed an inner nudge—is answering a divine call.

The storm we weathered before this session wasn’t a coincidence. It felt like a reflection of what so many of us carry silently: the tension, the heaviness, the overwhelm.

But we showed up anyway.

And as the skies cleared, I could feel it…
The weight we released.
The lightness that followed.
The strength in our softness.

We’re never alone in our storms.

You weren’t drawn here by accident.
Like the calm that follows a storm, your soul knows when it’s time to soften. Come float.
Come home to the part of you that’s been weathering it all.

As the seasons shift, so do the needs of our bodies and minds.

Fall encourages us to ground ourselves, embrace change, and find the balance between movement and stillness. This time of year invites us to listen more deeply to what we need and explore how we can meet those needs, both on and off the mat.

Kneeling Extended Side Angle is a powerful way to root down while expanding outward. Pressing the arm into the inner leg and the leg into the arm creates a sense of grounding, while the side body stretches and opens.

It’s a beautiful reminder of how we can stay anchored yet continue to grow.

From here, two variations offer new ways to play and explore:

1. Kneeling Half Moon with a Sugar Cane Stretch: A combination of balance and stretch, this variation invites us to notice how our bodies shift and open as we move into the quad stretch, finding both strength and release.
2. Low Flying Airplane: Hovering in a lunge with both heels lifted and arms stretched back, this pose creates a sensation of gliding. It’s a reminder that even in grounded moments, we can move with lightness and grace.

Which variation are you trying?
