A sweet surprise at Brightview White Marsh! Our residents were treated to donuts and coffee from Dunkin’ after their incredible TikTok videos caught some attention. 🎥✨
The morning was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of sprinkles, and our residents had the best time celebrating together. A huge thank you to Dunkin’ for making this day so special for our Brightview Stars! 💜

We had another unforgettable Clambake this year for our residents, and it was absolutely delicious! We kicked things off with a flavorful appetizer of Rhode Island Clam Chowder paired with crispy clam cakes.
For the main course, everyone had the option to choose from three mouthwatering entrees:
🦞 A classic Lobster Roll served with golden French fries
🍗 Barbecue Chicken with sweet corn and seasoned potatoes
🦞 A full Lobster Bake featuring lobster, steamers, little necks, corn, and potatoes
The food was outstanding, the company even better, and the summer spirit was alive and well. Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Clambake such a success!

A lifelong New Englander and proud Boston sports fan, Marjorie has cheered on the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins through 39 championships in her lifetime - and she hasn’t missed a moment of the excitement. 🏆 From Fenway to Foxborough, she’s been a true superfan for more than a century.

We recently had a lovely trip to the Lotus Pond in North Kingstown. The residents truly enjoyed the scenic ride and took the opportunity to capture some beautiful photos of the peaceful surroundings. It was a relaxing and enjoyable outing for everyone involved. We’re already looking forward to more fun nature adventures in the future!

We had an amazing time exploring the vibrant art of belly dancing with Celia! Her hour-long program began with a captivating performance that showcased a variety of rhythms from Egypt, Lebanon, Greece, and other parts of the world. Each dance was unique and exciting, especially those featuring props like flowing veils and impressive sword balancing. During the second half of the program, we got to join in the fun by dressing up in colorful hip scarves and learning some beginner belly dance moves.

Residents of Brightview Commons recently enjoyed a fantastic presentation by the Roger Williams Zoo. The zoo staff brought in several different animals, giving residents the unique opportunity to see them up close. Each animal was introduced with fascinating facts and stories, making the experience both educational and entertaining. The visit sparked curiosity and lively conversation among the residents, who thoroughly enjoyed learning about the animals and their behaviors. It was a memorable and engaging event, and we’re grateful to the Roger Williams Zoo team for bringing such a special experience to our community.

Our residents never cease to amaze us!

For this month’s Men’s Club program, we had the pleasure of welcoming one of our own, retired priest Father Gerald Beirne, as our guest speaker. Father Beirne shared the fascinating journey that led him to write a New England sports trivia book—one that includes a remarkable collection of autographs from some of the region’s most iconic athletes.

Residents and associates alike were captivated as Father Beirne effortlessly recited sports statistics from memory and recounted some of his most memorable autograph encounters. It was an afternoon full of nostalgia, passion, and admiration for a life well-lived and well-loved through faith and fandom.

We are so thankful for our amazing chefs here at Brightview Commons! Our most recent luncheon was nothing short of delicious, featuring grilled marinated chicken skewers, sweet corn on the cob, crisp coleslaw, and warm garlic bread. To top it all off, we enjoyed a cream cheese-filled crepe topped with fresh blueberries for dessert. We truly appreciate the creativity, passion, and care our culinary team puts into every meal—they help make Brightview feel like home.

Residents of Brightview Commons had a wonderful evening at South Kingstown Beach, where they enjoyed a delightful picnic dinner while listening to the uplifting sounds of the Wakefield Concert Band. The beautiful beach setting, combined with great music and good company, made for a memorable summer outing that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It was a perfect way to relax, socialize, and soak in the charm of a coastal Rhode Island evening.
