We had the opportunity to check out Wakonda’s very own h**p farm Dakota H**p. The residents enjoyed learning what John and Carl do with the h**p. Thanks for the tour!

Today was Wakonda Fair day! The residents got all the crafts back from the Yankton County and Turner County Fair Open Class. Then they enjoyed homemade pies made by Patty. To end the evening the Back Porch Pickers came to entertain the residents.

We had so much fun this morning at Glenridge Golf Course! Some of our residents were avid golfers and spent many summers at this course:) They all enjoyed seeing how beautiful the course looks and even got to swing a club:) Thank you to Lisa Nielson for opening up for us even though your normally closed. Wish we could have stayed longer! ⛳️🏌️

What a great week at the manor! We started off Monday with making smore cupcakes. Tuesday we had carnival games and funnel cakes. Thursday we made bird feeder and then went out for a picnic by the river. We had perfect weather. On Friday we ended with our favorite game of bingo. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers this week to help make this all happen. Got a few pictures to share.

We hooked the best Dad's celebration! We celebrated the men by fishing for prizes and eating cookies and milkshakes. Then we had special music played by Charles.
