My starter, "Mama Dough" has risen! Well... Technically she hasn't yet... BUT she has been taken out of hibernation and will be happy, bubbly, and active soon! 🎉
I will start offering sourdough loaves to customers in October. There will be some limitations on orders this season: Last season, I was baking up to 16 loaves a week and it was CRAZY!!! I will be cutting that number in half this year, baking on Mondays (for Tuesday pickups) and Wednesdays (for Thursday pickups). 4 loaves per bake day only! ☺️
The good news is, the pricing of $5 per loaf will stay the same - the idea behind my baking is to offer a quality, affordable product for the community. It's not my main source of income, so I am able to keep my prices low. That being said, if you have a sourdough baker that charges a little more than I do, please stick with them - small businesses work incredibly hard and I respect everyone who is making their dreams a reality! 🫶
