Although you may wait months to secure an appointment with some healthcare professionals, here at Sheepscot Bay Physical Therapy we are able to see patients within 24-48 hours of referral. Our experienced staff skillfully guides you in achieving the goal you choose, whether that be returning to gardening after a total knee replacement or returning to the soccer field after an ACL tear. Our staff specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic low back pain, and we offer programs to manage of incontinence and pelvic pain. We also have an office in Wiscasset, Maine, allowing us to serve a broad range of the mid-coast population. We offer massage therapy, personal training, and senior exercises classes from our experienced LMTs and CPT. So, as many people already know, Sheepscot Bay Physical therapy will close next Wednesday, the 15th of November. I tried, unsuccessfully to sell the practice because I want to retire but since no one seems to be able to find PTs, no one wanted to buy it. So we sold the building and I'm closing the practice. It was a very difficult decision, I started this practice almost 19 years ago and I have been a PT for 44 years. It's time for me to do some fun things. I will miss many aspects but I look forward to the next part of my life. I thank everyone who supported us over the years and I wish you all the best. Keep your eyes out for Maureen and Marisa and their next ventures as well.
