God's Way Christian Counseling offers faith-based professional therapy for individuals, couples and Hello and welcome! I love my work!

I'm Trina Goffe, the founder and Executive Director of God’s Way Christian Counseling, Inc. I am a native Washingtonian and have worked as a Pastoral Counselor in the mental health community for several years. God’s Way provides access to pastoral counseling services that allow your personal faith to help you heal and grow. I believe in this method of counseling because it works! It has worked for countless others and personally for me after years of emotional and physical abuse. Pastoral counseling is a form of therapy or counseling in which a skilled pastoral counselor uses the insights and principles of faith, theology, and behavioral science in working with individuals, couples, families, groups, and institutions toward the achievement of wholeness and health. My biblical training allows clients to bring faith and prayer into the therapeutic relationship as they grow both naturally and spiritually. My colleagues testify of my unwavering faith, love, compassion for others, and accurate insight into clients' lives. I believe that God uses life's difficulties to produce character, perseverance, hope, and a deeper faith that moves mountains. I'm also a professional Chaplain specializing in grief and bereavement support. I'm a compassionate helper, empathetic listener, and solution-focused counselor. I'm passionate about helping people solve problems God’s Way! I am happily married with three beautiful children. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading biographies and memoirs, shopping, and helping others.

God can still favor you in what seems like an oppressed place.

Remember Joseph's story and be encouraged in the hard place.

According to the Bible, God favored Joseph by granting him favor in the eyes of others, the most unlikely people. Even in difficult situations like being betrayed by his family and sold into slavery, God caused him to rise to a position of power in the oppressed place and ultimately save his family and others. Despite the hardships, this was seen as a clear sign of God's presence, favor, and blessing.

James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Some benefits of trials:

1. Trials are part of God’s work.
2. Trials put God’s power on display.
3. Trials make us depend on God.
4. Trials may be for discipline.
5. Trials train us in spiritual warfare.
