Coping techniques for labor don’t start in labor and they don’t end after birth.
Breathing, movement, relaxation, positioning, mindset, and comfort measures work best when they’re practiced during pregnancy. Using these tools prenatally helps your body and brain recognize them when labor begins, making them more effective when you need them most.
And these skills don’t disappear once the baby arrives. Those same techniques often become invaluable in early parenthood, especially during recovery, long nights, moments of overwhelm, and adjustment.
Coping skills aren’t just birth tools. They’re life tools you carry into parenthood.
