Senior Connections Adult Day Center Senior Connections offers daily activities in a loving, home-like atmosphere. We Senior Connections is a small family owned center.

Our visitors engage in structured activities designed to stimulate brain functions and limit memory loss. You will find friendly faces along with a homey atmosphere. We cater to people who have mild to moderate memory loss as well as those who just need a place to hangout on any weekday. Senior Connections has a day program that boasts a cognitive stimulating program to all clients as well as private brain therapy. The owner is an RN and a Certified Care Manager. We assist in coordinating all your family member's medical care. We understand that as our parent's generation ages, it creates a higher demand for quality senior care. At Senior Connections we can give you a temporary relief from the stress and allow you to maintain your life while caring for an aging adult. We can take care of your loved one while you are preoccupied by other responsibilities during the day. Our elder care follows a daily routine balanced with mind building activities and group socialization. We provide two meals a day, passive exercise, and bathroom assistance along with other services that will make your Senior feel at home. We provide support for adults who would otherwise not be able to stay home alone due to a physical or mental disability. Some of our clients are afflicted with dementia, Parkinson's disease, aphaisa, and Alzheimer's Disease. Patricia O'Hora, a native of Waldwick, NJ, opened Senior Connections in 2009 after seeing the need in the community for decades. Patricia holds her BSN and has over 25 years of nursing experience. Patricia recently passed the national certification exam for care management. She has worked for many of the major hospitals in Northern New Jersey in various areas including medical surgical, emergency room, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Patricia currently lives in Upper Saddle River, NJ with her husband and three children. Inspired by her family history of Alzheimer's disease Patricia has a passion for geriatrics and elder care.

Our Story

Senior Connections was established out of a personal and professional mission of its founder to help clients and their families struggling with the mild to moderate memory loss .By providing a nurturing, comfortable and healthy atmosphere for our clients, and a safe, structured and stimulating program of activities for them to enjoy, Senior Connections is a unique option for clients and their families in and around Bergen County, New Jersey.

What’s more, the team at Senior Connections has a personal understanding of the impact of dementia on a family. That’s why the staff provides support services and information to families, to help clients’ loved ones better understand cognitive impairment, to manage their family member’s care, and to remind these loving caregivers that they’re not alone.

Everything at Senior Connections is carefully designed to enhance the quality of life for our clients with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia. The center includes a daytime program, as well as a variety of related services that support the well-being of both our clients and their loved ones.
