Jenelle and Jarrod were high school sweethearts in Bagley before life had it's funny turns. He attended school at UND and Kansas City Kansas Community College to obtain his Mortuary Science Degree in 1997. He has been working in the death care service since 1992 and was officially licensed in 1998. Jenelle graduated high school from Bagley, MN in 1988 and entered the US Air Force in the spring of

1989. She served for over 20 years in various places: Tucson, Arizona; Minot, North Dakota; Omaha, Nebraska; and finally Incirlik AFB, Adana, Turkey where she retired in March of 2009. Jenelle and Jarrod were married in 2005 in Nay-Tah-Waush, MN. Jenelle served the last two years of her career in Turkey while Jarrod stayed back to be with his kids. When Jenelle retired and came back home, they decided to move to Walker and start Northern Peace Funeral Home. They are both very grateful for the community opening their hearts and arms to welcome them and their family to Walker.
