There are many things that make our race special - the course, the volunteers, the evening party - but we're most proud of what we do to support the community. Blessings in a Backpack Frederick Chapter is hard at work feeding children from food insecure households and we are proud to support their mission by donating the full net proceeds of our race. It's great to see the organization add Thurmont Elementary to the list of schools they serve.

Thanks to a generous gift through a donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation of Frederick County, we are thrilled to share that we are now serving kids at Thurmont Elementary School!

Last night, our team member Jen attended the Catoctin Feeder Community Night to share more about our weekend food bags. 🎒

If you know of a family in need of food support at Thurmont Elementary, please guide them to talk to their school counselor!
