For those that remember Nancy Smith... She was one of our dedicated opticians that served the community for decades. She passed away one year ago. Are you excited for the solar eclipse? It's this Monday, April 8th. It will be viewable in the Frederick area from 2:04 - 4:32 PM, with a maximum eclipse of 90% at 3:20 PM. If you want to look directly at the eclipse you must wear approved solar eclipse glasses, which we have at Walkersville Eyecare. (limited supply) Not wearing proper eye protection can lead to permanent retinal damage and loss of vision. Stay safe and enjoy!

Over 60 years! That's how much experience these ladies have at Walkersville Eyecare! Think of that. We have some amazing new talent that have recently joined our team - and we will be highlighting them soon - but we also have some very dedicated and loyal team members that are a big part of what makes Walkersville Eyecare the Best of the Best. Please come celebrate Ben’s retirement. Ben has been working on our team of dedicated opticians and serving Walkersville Eyecare patients since 2006. As a youth he started in his family’s business, and we are proud to celebrate over 45 accumulated years of Ben’s Optician service. Please, stop by to congratulate him. Let's wish him well on his next adventure. Ben is headed to North Macedonia in the Peace Corps!
