As we wrap up another blessed Thanksgiving, we now enter the most wonderful time of the year! Tomorrow kicks off the 50th Anniversary of WFMD Christmas Cash for Kids and you know what that means: I’ll be out of my office all week to answer the phones taking your donations, pledges, and challenges to raise money to help bring the magic of Christmas to the children of Frederick County who need a little help! No amount is too small, and 100% of your donation helps the children. I’ll be ready to take your calls at 6 am tomorrow (yes, those who know me KNOW I am not a morning person, so for me to be entering my 16th year volunteering to do this, you know it must be special)! Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. It’s the most wonderful time of the year: WFMD Christmas Cash for Kids starts tomorrow at 6am and runs until Friday evening! As most of you know, I close for business during this week to volunteer answering the phones to take donations which provide toys and other necessities for children in Frederick County.
