At Miller's, our Care Plan team is at the heart of keeping residents and families connected, informed, and involved every step of the way. Our interdisciplinary team works together to create personalized care plans that reflect each resident's needs, preferences, and goals. We believe families play a vital role, which is why we encourage their participation in care plan meetings. Meetings are typically held quarterly and upon admission.

Our Care Plan Meetings, led by Social Services, provide an opportunity to ask questions, share input, and ensure your loved one is receiving the best possible care. Together we build a plan that supports not just health, but comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Our staff and residents celebrated St. Patrick's Day by wearing their favorite shades of green and decorating delicious shamrock cookies. Wearing green is said to bring good luck and keep mischievous leprechauns away.

From helping new residents adjust, to providing guidance during difficult times, they work tirelessly to ensure each person in our care feels heard, supported, and respected. Their dedication and compassion help make our facility feel more like home for so many.

Did you know that Miller's is a pet-friendly facility? For many of our residents, pet visits can bring comfort and joy. It can also reduce stress and loneliness. When pets visit, they are the highlight of the day for our residents.

If you would like to bring your pet by, please let us know and we would be happy to set up a time. To keep everyone healthy, all visiting pets must have a current certificate of health, vaccinations, and be supervised at all times. Thank you for helping us keep these special visits safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Celebrated on the second Wednesday in March during National Nutrition Month, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day increases awareness of registered dietitian nutritionists as the indispensable providers of food and nutrition services and recognizes RDNs for their commitment to helping people enjoy healthy lives.

"My name is Cindy Courtright. I have been with Miller’s for 37 years and love my job! The residents are the best part of the job by watching their faces light up and smile because the food is good or you were able to meet their needs in some way. It just melts my heart. I do drumming with the residents at some of the buildings. I also teach cardio drumming at a gym in Angola. I have been married to a beef farmer for 40 years this summer. I have 3 adult children that all live close."

At Miller's we've found that meaningful routines on our memory care community can reduce stress and foster a calming environment. That's why we designed engagement stations like our hat and purse station.

The Boulevard's hat and purse station promotes socialization, tactile stimulation, and might even spark some memories. Throughout the day, residents, like Pam, will often take an item to wear for the day or show off to friends. Simple activities like this promotes independence while creating moments of joy.

Congratulations to Kelly Wolff on 25 years at Miller’s! Today we proudly celebrate 25 years of dedication from Kelly Wolff, CNA here at Miller's!

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Kelly shared, "I love spending time with the residents." Her heart for people is exactly what makes her so special to our team and the residents she cares for every day. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her granddaughters.

Charles came to Miller's for short-term rehab with one goal in mind – regain his strength and return home to his lovely wife. During his stay, Charles worked very hard in therapy and thanks to his determination and dedication, he achieved exactly that!

Before discharging, Charles shared that he had a wonderful experience and praised the staff for their kindness and care. He even said staying at Miller's was like "staying at a hotel" and mentioned the food was "outstanding." We are very proud of Charles for putting in the hard work to regain his independence, and we wish him the very best as he continues his journey home.
