Our first new moon of 2026 was yesterday- what are your intentions this month?

We get so hung up on the flipping of the calendar but intentions can start at all new moons 🩷 we also have the lunar new year coming, and Aries starts the astrological calenders so? The calendar is really just a suggestion 🙃

This is a recurring joke in our house. Tom Robbins was the first author that I fell deeply and madly in love with. His writing made me love reading in a time in highschool when there was so much required reading that I might not have found this love. (So many of our required reads were so .... Not fun!)

What books or authors made you love reading?

If you haven't read him give him a try! I keep telling my sweety he needs to read him - hence this is a running commentary!

Another really nice night with the cats and the people of and

Every month we gather there and read for folks and visit with the cats. So fun! I had some amazing tarot clients that shared space and stories with me. We laughed, found guidance and affirmation and there were some hugs! And yes. Plenty of furry friends.

"Smurf" one of those cute gray kitties is going to his forever home today! And that handsome boy "gandalf" that's fluffy and thick is going to his home next week. does an amazing job and has found homes for 1700+ cats!

Join us next week for this class of embodiment. The majors are the steps through our souls evolution. In out class we will move through asanas that hold these energies. It's a reflective quiet class. There will be handouts that you can go back to to dive deeper into the cards and the poses at home. Cause sometimes? We need a certain energy, the intuition of the high priestess, the surrender of the hanged man, the roots of our traditions. Tarot and yoga help us on this journey of life and pair so well together.

You will definitely be fine. But Saturn returns can feel like chaos. Like upheaval.

They are big shifts of our Saturn returning to where it was when we came in.

My first tarot teacher would mention these a lot and I chat about this in my book-how the rows in the majors mirror these shifts.

In my first return, I was entering professional life, raising two kids, and finishing my degree. But it laid the foundation for now.

Now I am entering my second return and so excited to be becoming a grandma. And nurturing other women, but there's def a lot going on in my head. A lot of re-examining the past and making plans.
