At 71, this beautiful patient had come to see me after completing her weight-loss journey. She wanted some help with her neck. After seeing her again, all I can say is …. WOW! Truly blown away. She went from beautiful to beautiful… two versions of the same pretty face. The transformation is so dramatic, yet so natural that no one could quite put their finger on what changed.

Her friends kept complimenting how smooth her skin looks, asking what skincare she switched to… even wondering if she lost more weight….perfection! As her surgeon, that’s the highest compliment. At 56, this beautiful patient is now four months after her procedures. She looks absolutely amazing, and still has a little more healing to go. Her incisions are going to continue to fade, and once the little remaining swelling goes away she’s going to have even more improvement. She was beautiful before and remains beautiful after. Her skin is glowing, her jawline is gently defined, and her neck is elegantly contoured. She loves her results and that she still looks like herself…not pulled, stretched or “plastic”. The result is smooth, balanced, and natural…. just perfect! 😊

Timeless, Refined, Effortless…. At the age of 56, this patient is now 4 months post-facelift and neck lift. She was beautiful before and is still beautiful after. Her jawline is softly defined, her neck elegantly contoured, and the overall result is smooth, balanced, and natural — not overdone. True facial rejuvenation should whisper, not shout. Wow! This brought a smile to my face 😊 I was so happy to hear from one of my beautiful patients 5 years later!!! I love how this photo that she sent me lined up perfectly with her before photo. There’s no filters, no edits, just pure magic - lightning in a bottle! It almost looks like sisters taking a photo together, except that the pictures were taken 5 years apart. She was beautiful before and is still beautiful after her facelift. Perfectly natural! What I love most is that she still looks like herself…..stunning! Just seeing her happy and smiling means the world to me. She’s living her best life, and I’m grateful that I was able to be a part of her journey!!!

Many of my patients travel from all over the country to have their procedures here in NJ. Some fly in, while others drive. Last month alone we had patients from Texas, California, Ohio, Illinois, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and of course New Jersey. This beautiful patient was one of three who came to visit in the last few weeks from California. After 2 weeks, she is heading back home. She has a lot of healing to go, but her results are already peaking through!!! …. And she’s loving it!! It was an absolute pleasure to have her as a patient and I’m so grateful that she is allowing me to share her journey…Her results are going to be amazing!!!

In terms of recovery, healing varies in every patient. The first 2 weeks of healing are very important to the end result. No flying for 2 weeks. Patients who drive, MIGHT be able to leave sooner than 2 weeks depending on how healing is going. I require that all of my patients stay local for the first week.

At the age of 60, she traveled all the way from California, and I’m so excited for her — her results are going to be amazing!

These photos highlight early recovery only. Even though many would say she already looks great, there’s still significant healing ahead. At just 2 weeks, she’s able to camouflage bruising with makeup and style her hair to cover areas that are still healing.

Since many of my patients travel from across the country to have their procedures done here in NJ, here are some important healing guidelines & timelines — and remember, we’re with you every step of the way 😊

💎 Travel & healing guidelines
• The first 2 weeks are critical to your final result
• No flying for 2 weeks
• Patients are required to stay local for the first week
• Driving patients may be able to leave sooner, depending on healing

💎 Average healing timeline (varies by patient):
• 1 week: Bruising and swelling expected, with peak swelling around days 4–5
• 2 weeks: Visible healing begins — about 20–30% healed
(Most patients return to work/public with concealer and strategic hair styling)
• 6–8 weeks: About 70–80% healed
Minimal bumps remain — the earliest “event-ready” window (weddings, red carpet, interviews, photo shoots, filming)
• 3–4 months: Results most representative of long-term outcome
Ideal for major events, though subtle healing can continue for up to a year

1 year postop!!! At the age of 48 , this patient came to me because she was convinced that I would be able to give her the jawline and neckline of her dreams. She was beautiful before surgery and is still beautiful after…..it’s two versions of the same face. Natural, refreshed, and elegant . What I love is how she still has the same pretty face except that her natural facial volume is in a more youthful position, her jawline is “diamond etched” to perfection, and her neckline has been redefined!!!

What does facial balancing mean? Facial balancing is my approach to facial rejuvenation that focuses on highlighting a person’s naturally beautiful features without distorting them. It involves modifying standard facelift techniques like the deep plane facelift to achieve a result that is so dramatic but natural that people have a hard time figuring out what was done. It’s about preserving, and sometimes improving, characteristic features of someone’s face so that when other people see them, they have no idea why they look better. They think it’s either a new skin care routine, a new hairstyle, or weight loss. Natural facelift results don’t have to be subtle, they just have to look natural!

When it comes to facial plastic surgery, more specifically facelifts and facial rejuvenation, “There’s a fine line between too much and not enough. The goal is to look better, not different.”  The techniques that I’ve developed, the nuances of my approach, and the attention to detail keep my patients looking like more refreshed versions of themselves. Once the muscles are released from their attachments, I have the freedom to reposition them in a way that makes the face look more youthful and balanced. That’s why every surgeon’s results look different. Aesthetic judgement is key and unique to every surgeon. One of the many consistencies of my results is that there isn’t any “signature look”. Every patient still looks like themselves, just better. The face doesn’t  look pulled or stretched. The results are dramatic, yet still elegant.
