It’s always a great day when we see one of our clients on the podium!

Andrew ran a 27k trail race over the weekend with over 3500 ft of elevation.

He was dealing with an Achilles injury after his most recent Ironman race, and has been able to get back to it and is killing it!!

Started reading this book and so far it’s been a gem. Will be recommending it to my athletes. Great for mindset and learning to trust the process.
Will be posting quotes from this book the next couple of weeks. Here is one 👇:

“No matter what kind of talent you’ve been blessed with, you still have to answer the same question: What do you want to do with this? Where are you going, and how can you use what you’ve been given to get there?”

Change isn’t easy — but neither is staying stuck. Growth starts when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the fear of change.

Chronic low back pain often involves irritation of the nerves (dorsal ramus nerve), and while radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a common treatment, dry needling may offer similar benefits—without the long-term drawbacks.

5 Key Points:
- RFA works by ‘burning’ the nerve (medial branch of the dorsal ramus) to stop pain signals—but relief often fades after 6–12 months.

- Repeated RFA can cause unintended effects, like muscle atrophy, especially in the multifidus, a very important muscle.

- Dry needling to the dorsal rami, especially with electrical stimulation, can create a similar neuromodulatory effect—calming nerve sensitivity.

-Research suggests EDN may activate the same op**te pathways as RFA, helping reduce pain and the need for meds.

-Dry needling is less invasive, repeatable, and doesn’t damage the nerve—making it a smart, effective option in many cases.

Why this matters: If you’re dealing with stubborn low back pain, dry needling may offer targeted relief similar to nerve ablation—without the risks.
