It was a tough day for the clinic yesterday as we said goodbye to K9 Pick.
We have said time and time again how we take pride in providing services to Walla Walla Police Department and with that pride we also share our grief with you.
K9 Pick was a water dog through and through so much that she would dunk her whole head in her water bowl every chance she got and LOVED bath time. She was the sweetest most energetic girl that just loved being around people and we will miss her everyday.
We thank you for your service and we hope there is an endless supply of water for you girl 🇺🇸❤️
💙🐾 In Loving Memory of Retired K9 Pick 🐾💙
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of retired police K9 Pick.
Pick, a Black Labrador got her name from the breeder — she was the “pick” of the litter. Known and loved by her fellow officers as “Pickles,” she proudly served as a drug detection K9 from 2014 until her retirement in 2020.
During her career, K9 Pick served on patrol and with the Street Crimes Unit alongside her handler, now-retired Sgt. Gunner Fulmer. Together, they took a substantial amount of illegal drugs off the streets of Walla Walla, making our community safer through her dedication, drive, and incredible nose.
After retiring, Pick transitioned seamlessly into her favorite role — full-time family dog with the Fulmers. She lived life with the same energy, love, and enthusiasm she brought to work, right up until the end, always generous with kisses and affection.
Today, K9 Pick has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, leaving paw prints on the hearts of everyone who knew her. 💔🌈
We miss you dearly, Pickles. Thank you for your loyal service, your unwavering spirit, and the joy you brought to so many. Rest easy, good girl. 💙🐕🦺
