Introducing Cynthia Marquez our Christian Counselor at the Emmaus Center!

Here are 3 Fun Facts about Cynthia Marquez:

1. She has three kids all in three different generations. Her oldest was born in 1989, her second kid was born in 1998, and her youngest child was born in 2012.

2. She played the cello and violin, & she is a huge music fan!

3. Not many people know this but, she published a book that she will be rewriting and publishing. It is called, “Married to the Unyoked, So Now What?”

Emmaus has received $10,000 to support our student internship and associate therapist training for 2025. We want the thank 3 Rivers Community Foundation and their donors for the incredible support. With the help you have provided you will be participating with Emmaus in training the next generation of mental health counselors.
We also want to congratulate all the worthy causes that received grants this year. 3 Rivers Community Foundation gave $333,000 to many local charities.

To that mother with a screaming special needs child quickly walking out of the store as others give disapproving looks and make uninformed comments, God sees you! Your sacrificial walk through this desperate moment is the love that this world needs. Thank you for being a light of what true parental sacrifice looks like. And by the way please ignore the comments of fools. You are a saint! And please do not be too hard on yourself, you may be a real-life hero, but you are still human.
