I don't feel right about throwing my tinctures or formulas at you as if I knew you needed it. Yes, I made a Respiratory Defense tincture that has kept my family from getting sick since the kids went back to school and I could spend hours making posts about how great each one of the herbs I have made tinctures with are. But I'm not going to do that. I would love to chat about your health concerns and create a formula for your unique mind body and soul. If you would like to work together and discover the healing powers within yourself and the plants, please just shoot me a message. I don't have fees or expensive products. I just want to help by donation. If you don't have money, I still want to help you.

Respiratory Defense Tincture is now available for $15
When Molly came home with a scratchy throat and runny nose, I started giving her this tincture every morning and night. What I thought was a cold coming on was stopped in it's tracks. She literally didn't get sick! No more scratchy throat and no sniffles after just a few days.

What makes Walla Walla Herbs different than any other herbal product that you can buy at the store?
I make my tinctures with fresh plant material and 100 proof alcohol. That's it!
Most of the tinctures that I see at the store have more than just those two ingredients.
The main ingredient that is in almost everything that everyone doesn't realize that they should avoid are Essential Oils. These are very volatile oils that should not be consumed. I know that through marketing we have all been trained to think that these are incredibly good for our health, but they are NOT. April Graham has written a book dedicated to the topic. If you would like to read it, you can find it at her website, wildwoodapothecary.com.
Another ingredient that I see a lot is Glycerin. A lot of "tinctures" are made with this in attempt to make a tincture without the "alcohol". Did you know that Glycerin is actually a fatty alcohol that our livers can't process? You are still getting the "effects" of the alcohol, but you don't feel it because our liver can't process the fatty alcohol. Glycerin should NOT be used internally. It also makes a very, very weak medicine.

When you take tinctures, you will be taking them 5-20 drops at a time. The amount of alcohol consumed is less than the amount of alcohol you would consume if you ate an over-ripe banana or used mouthwash. I use 100 proof alcohol because it is 50% water and 50% alcohol which is perfect for extracting the beneficial water soluble and alcohol soluble properties of the plants for a well balanced, whole plant tincture.

Some tinctures that I find in stores are made with Grain Alcohol. This includes things like Everclear and super strong alcohol that is illegal in most states. This type of alcohol only extracts the most volatile properties of a plant and starts to degrade the plant material over time, just like it would degrade your health system/organs over time.

The best medicine is local medicine. My tinctures are made with fresh local plants ALWAYS

I have a few bottles of Yarrow Tincture available right now for $15.
I use Yarrow Tincture every day. I add it to my face wash and toothpaste because it kills bacteria on contact. I put it on acne and wounds because not only does it kill bacteria, it stops bleeding. I take a dropperful of the tincture when I am feeling anxiety or feel like a cold is coming on.
In May of 2022, a study was published on pubmed.gov titled, "Investigation on anti-Corona viral potential of Yarrow..." which found that Yarrow is effective against Corona Virus.
Yarrow is so great because it is a modulator. If you have high or low blood pressure, it can modulate it. If you have an overactive or underactive immune system, it can balance that out. If you are having too much bleeding during your menstrual cycle, it can lessen it and vice versa.
Yarrow can do so much that it would be impossible to go into all of it so please look into Yarrow for yourself and see what it can help you with.
2 oz of Yarrow tincture for only $15. Please message me if you would like a bottle.

Rosie and I ran into this Hawthorn tree a few days ago. I spent some time under it, gathering the berries to make a tincture. As we continued walking I saw another Hawthorn, then another and another. I looked up around me to find a whole grove of Hawthorn trees! I had walked this path many times and never noticed! It's funny how plants are like that. They show up when you get to know them or need them.
Hawthorn berries are in the Apple family. Some people make jams or jelly with them but I like to make tincture. The berries, blooms, and leaves are all wonderful for heart health. Not just your heart, but your entire cardiovascular system. She would be a great ally to keep close if your family has a history of heart disease. I also love to make a nourishing herbal Infusion with the leaves and bloom. It tastes delicious and my 11 year old daughter will actually drink it with me.
I have just touched on the tip of the iceberg here but I hope you get curious about Hawthorn, go meet her outside and get to know the medicine right outside your door!

If your dog has anxiety about Fireworks, like mine, Catnip Tincture may help. For the last 3 nights I have been giving my Husky a few drops at the first sign of anxiety (aka the first firework we heard) and she fell asleep shortly after. I made some this year for my family with fresh locally wildcrafted Catnip and I have have 10 extra bottles. If you would like some please message me. I can deliver a bottle in Walla Walla for a $20 donation. The 1oz bottle will last a long time and is also useful for other situations. I encourage you to look into Catnip and learn about her.
