Thanksgiving brings together friends, family, and delicious feasts—but it can also get pretty hectic. With all the commotion, curious pets might explore places they shouldn’t, so be sure to keep their safety in mind as you celebrate and give thanks.

"Tooth be told" your pet's dental care matters. Just as oral health is critically important to our quality of life and longevity, so it is with our cats and dogs. Ignoring pet dental health can lead to periodontal disease, which can cause pain and potentially affect other organs like the heart and kidneys. Please talk to your veterinarian about dental health for your pet.

Pain Detection

Left untreated, chronic pain from arthritis and other common age-related conditions can negatively affect your senior pet’s quality of life. But prompt diagnosis and treatment can restore comfortable mobility, allowing your senior pet to age with grace—not pain.

Subtle—and not so subtle—pain signs may include:
🤕Panting
🤕Hunching
🤕Hiding
🤕Increased sleeping or restlessness
🤕Irritability or aggression
🤕Decreased interest in physical activities or play
🤕Avoiding physical contact
🤕Increased or decreased grooming

Schedule an appointment if your senior pet is demonstrating any of these common pain signs.
