We’re gathering on January 31st for another SMART Recovery Alternative Peer Group (APG) focused on the mind–body connection.

APGs are peer-led community spaces that offer support outside of traditional meetings. They focus on shared interests and experiences while supporting recovery across all pathways and all types of addiction; no pressure to share, just a chance to show up as you are and be in community.

We hope you’ll come spend the morning with us, exploring wellness and connection in a relaxed, welcoming setting!

Imagination is everything. It’s the preview to life’s coming attractions.

Every meaningful change begins as a picture in your mind before it becomes real in your life.

If you can see it, you can start building it.
One small win today is enough.

It’s okay to feel nostalgia for who you were in 2016.
It’s just as powerful to honor who you’ve become.

Every season taught you something.
Every obstacle, scar, and setback shaped you into who you are today.
Carry it forward.

Every version of you played a role in getting here.
You don’t get to go back.
You get to bring the lessons with you and build what’s next.

Dream big over the next ten years.
And let’s look back at 2026 together, proud of the steps we took to build lives that are truly meaningful.

“I like it. I love it. I want more of it!” 😆

Use a simple cadence to fall into a rhythm and carry yourself through something difficult.

Pick a short phrase.
Repeat it with every step, every rep, every breath.

Cadence gives the mind direction. It steadies the nervous system, narrows focus, and shifts attention away from discomfort toward forward motion. The challenge stays the same, but your experience inside it changes.

Whether it’s getting back into the gym, starting a walk, building a habit, or moving through a hard season, cadence gives you a way forward.

One mantra at a time.

Why carry a water bottle when Mother Nature’s got your back?

Sometimes the simplest solutions are right at your feet.

Stay creative, stay resourceful, and enjoy the journey.
(Just remember… don’t eat the yellow snow. ❄️😉)

Can you take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’? 💥

Adversity isn’t a setback. It’s training.

When life hits, pause, breathe, and take the next right step.
That’s how resilience is built. 🧠💪

At Synergy, we teach mental fitness the same way we train the body.
So you don’t just survive. You thrive.

Train your mind and body together. 🔁

What you eat shapes how you think, feel, and perform.

Yesterday, U.S. HHS released a new inverted food pyramid with one simple message: EAT REAL FOOD.
Protein, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, and whole foods first. Less processed noise. More fuel that actually works.

Nutrition isn’t just physical. It impacts mood, focus, energy, stress tolerance, and resilience.
Fuel your body well, and your mind follows.

At Synergy, we believe true mental fitness is built through a total mind-body approach. Therapy, movement, and nutrition working together.

Prepare your meals with intention. Daily success starts with daily choices.

We offer proven strategies to help you build a clear plan and sustainable routine so you can start feeling better today.

Movement doesn’t have to be intense to matter. Sometimes it’s just about being present, breathing in where you are, and letting the miles show you where to go.

Is the holiday a good EXCUSE not to exercise… or the BEST reason to?

More unstructured time. Fewer obligations.
Holiday workouts help me reset, get grounded, and focus on what I’m grateful for so I can show up calmer and more present.

The holidays can be stressful. Self care matters.
Hope you find a moment today to move, breathe, and reflect on what you’re grateful for. 🎄🏃‍♂️💚

Health is wealth.

Every time you work on yourself
a therapy session
a workout
a hard conversation
you’re making a deposit into your most valuable account.

Those deposits compound over time
into clarity, resilience, confidence, and energy.

Invest in your long-term health.

Gratitude and grit. 💚

RESET.

It’s important to take moments throughout the day to reset yourself. The stress and chaos of life can add up quickly, so every hour, make it a point to take a few minutes to move your body and reset your mind.

Simple ways to reset:
• Stretch your body and release any built-up tension
• Do one minute of body squats, push-ups, or jumping jacks
• Step outside for a breath of fresh air and get some sunlight
• Do one minute of simple breathwork, like box breathing or breathing in for four seconds and out for six seconds
• Splash cold water on your face for a quick refresh
• Do a simple manual task like sweeping or dusting, anything that helps break up the routine

These little resets add up, helping you feel more centered and balanced throughout your day.
