Mercury retrogrades get a lot of attention and grumbles but it’s not all just about chaos with communications and travel. We can hyper fixate on the negative or work with it and focus on the positives and what we can control. Double checking those numbers, PICTURES, and math calculations can save havoc. Likewise a little extra attention toward plan making, communications and driving can spare you stress longterm. Take an extra moment to focus yourself before starting the car, plan extra time and conveniences for travels-basically-be prepared for delays and 💩 you can’t control. Put on your listening ears with friends and family and be as clear as you can be to avoid misunderstandings.

The best part about Mercury retrograde is it’s an opportunity to REDO. While the planet appears to move backwards so it is a time to go back through all those things Mercury rules and tidy up loose ends and edit what needs it. Keywords: REdo, REorganize, edit! This isn’t the best time to take on new things but it is the best time to finish projects that have been set aside. Some of you may notice you’re driven to do this naturally-go with it! For writers this is a brilliant time for editing! 🙂 I tend to reorganize my house and finish up projects and works in progress. Weeeeee! 🥳

I find myself inspired and looking forward to these retrogrades knowing the process of reorganizing etc will be that much easier and faster! You want to thrive during this rx? Focus that energy in the right direction and watch as you progress through all those stagnant projects that are cluttering your mind. ☺️

We got a pool! I needed this for physical therapy. While planning I pulled tea coins to ask if I would get a good price quote to help level out the spot for the pool. Fish here represents money and bodies of water. The dog represents trust help and loyalty. The anchor is also a financial sign and symbol of trust and of course a great representation of ground. Anchor is a solid landing, putting your foot down, and security. The last coin made me smile.

I DID in fact get a good quote from a trusted company we’ve used before who went out of their way to not only make this happen for me but happen quickly! I ended up behind schedule and had a friend coming down to visit. This company, dog, did me a favor and got it in before my friend arrived.

The next spread of cards I asked about timing of when my pool would be ready to swim in. I predicted the 4th exactly and that’s what it ended up being. Things started happening faster and I would have had it up Wednesday except I ended up waiting on a thicker pad due to roots. I should have known better because the tree symbol had been coming up a lot for this project representing the roots in the ground. Then we had a terrible storm and almost had to put it off again but we were able to get it done and get in on the 4th.

I worked the timing out in the cards as delays in grave-particularly the digging of ground (that was the pool pad needed after they dug). Grave is also an anniversary or important ‘marker’. Hat shows authority and also reminds me of the hat of Uncle Sam. Cannon an lantern are the fireworks and pointing at hat shows a combination of an important time. Letter once again represents an anniversary day in this context or calander day. 😎 when the tea spills it’s HOT 😉

for the collective. If you’re struggling today (mountain) find some support (cane) and or take short breaks (tent) but keep at it. There’s a way around/through your situation you aren’t seeing. Taking a step back can improve clarity. 🙂 Take a hike and see things from a new point of view figuratively or literally.

I pulled cards for the election in the tea reading group I moderate. This was before Biden dropped out and I felt a need to pull cards for an alternate candidate thinking one of or both of these men may have health issues. Sure wnough these cards showed Biden pulling out with the ax facing medicine.

These cards are also pretty clear that Harris, (third row) wins. I try very hard to keep my own opinions out of card reading and read what is shown like it or not. Being impartial in a reading is important. I never pulled again on this. If I’m wrong so be it-but I didn’t feel like nagging the cards and these seemed pretty clear.

Now we wait for the results…. 🫣

I enjoyed this charm and cookie message cast using Karin Dalton-Smith’s Divination Divided book along with fortune cookie messages that inspired this charm spread. This book was nominated for the CARTA awards this year. I was excited about this spread book because it’s spiral bound and stays open when cards or charms are cast directly on it. The split pages allow you to customize your reading into 1000’s of different spreads and the back pages are left blank for you to fill in your favorite spreads and ideas for that much more divination adventure! Can be used with any card system and many other divination tools such as runes bones etc. 🙂
