In honor of , is sharing reflections from one of our Intensive Care Management (ICM) managers about the impact of our nurses.

This , we celebrate the power of teamwork and the incredible impact our nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team at make together every day. Through collaboration and compassion, they help guide our members toward better health outcomes. Recently, one of our clinical pharmacists was speaking with a member about their medications. The member shared they felt like the nurse saved their life by providing tools and support when they were overwhelmed. They were so grateful that the nurse accompanied them to a provider appointment and coached them on their self-advocacy skills prior to the appointment. This is just one of many great examples of how our nurses work with members, meeting them where they are, to truly support them in achieving their best health.
