We Pumped It for Parkinson’s and counted over 200,000 steps exceeding our goal of 30k.

Our Pump It for Parkinson's event was a success! We exceeded our goal of 30k steps with 56,054 steps 👟 We started the day with facts about Parkinson’s and stepping to beat of some of our favorite songs 🎵 Then we took a walk around our building- some of us did 2 laps around! After, we had a Parkinson’s friendly recipe- Berry Walnut Brain Boost Yogurt Bowl. All this was done to raise awareness for the benefit of exercise for those with Parkinson’s 💜 A huge thank you to everyone to participated!

Our residents and staff are coming together tomorrow, April 9, for NIFS Pump It for Parkinson's. We are pumped to participate in this
nationwide event helping to raise awareness for the benefits of exercise for those living with Parkinson's Disease!
