Release clutter in your mind and body through this restorative yoga and tarot class!

After a nurturing yoga flow, you'll rest in savasana while receiving a collective tarot reading based on the energy of the class.

Yoga mat and journal are encouraged. Lofi music and other sound healing tools will be used.

Happening October 27th, 7pm

Release the clutter in your mind & body through this restorative yoga and tarot class, intuitively tailored to you and the Ta**us Full Moon.

Students will pick a card at the beginning of class to hold as an intention for the night's practice.

After releasing through a nurturing yoga flow, I'll provide a collective tarot reading while you rest and reflect in savasana. Yoga mat and journal are encouraged.

So why am I touching my face?

I am using a tool called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique to ground and balance my mind and body due to physical, mental and emotional stress.

EFT uses a form of acupressure by tapping on energy hot spots in the body including the eyebrows, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, on the chin, the collarbone, under the arms, karate chopping the sides of the hands and ending with the top of the head.

In this example, I am using EFT with affirmations to remind myself of whatever I need in the present moment. Debunking the limiting belief that I do not have the time or energy to care for myself. And I choose instead to pause, heal and balance my energy by speaking aloud:

Affirmation: I have the time and energy needed to take care of myself.

Did you know yoga is more than just poses⁉️

I know me too! When I first started yoga, I was hyper focused on what I looked like doing the poses than inner standing and understanding how it affected my mind, body and spirit.

Yoga can be defined simply as union. Union with and within yourself and union with the world around you. Yoga poses or asanas help to move the energy in our bodies. For example, certain poses can help reduce shoulder and neck pain from sitting and looking at a screen for too long.

Additionally along with our breath, yoga poses help us to hear, see and feel how our mind, body and spirit are affected by the practice. For example, slowing down your breath helps to reduce stress and anxiety. And taking the time to heal and nurture yourself helps to ground you before going about your day.

🌿 Today, I incorporated Goddess, Chair, and Revolved Chair pose in the midday yoga flow.

AND CHILLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEE!! I WAS TIRED!!

It has been so long since I've done cardio and this was the self care reminder I needed.

Honestly, I can get so wrapped up in the day or in work or whatever I feel is in important at the moment instead of caring for my mind that absorbs all the things and my body that's just chugging til empty.

Now I am actively holding myself accountable to take care of myself. That's why my intention with these midday flows is to provide a safe space for myself (and others who wish to join) to take a break & find moments of self-care, awareness, acceptance, and mini-transformations.

🌿 Most of the time, regardless of how mindful my morning is, I can get caught up in the hustle of the day. Meaning no love for my mind and body. Meaning by the end of day, I am rusty, crusty, dusty and not just physically. So weekdays at noon PST, I’ll be practicing live for 10 minutes, because my mind and body deserve that break. They deserve to be dust and crust free. So if you need a break too, slide on through. Link is in my bio.

🌿 Closed captions
‣ When you’re ready, slowly stand up
‣ Place your feet hip distance width apart
‣ Squeeze your big toe in order to lift the
inner arches of your feet
‣ Roll your shoulders back and down
‣ Bring your chin into your chest
‣ Softly stare straight ahead of you
‣ Head floating over everything
‣ Pause, feel and breathe normally

This is mountain pose or tadasana, the foundation for all yoga poses. Mountain pose is great for body awareness and alignment. It’s not just standing but actively adjusting your body to improve and strengthen it even in subtle movements like this pose.

‣ Inhale your arms up over head
‣ Exhale bend over, folding at the hips
‣ Relax your neck and head
‣ Allow your neck, top of your head and
hands to dangle towards the floor
‣ Inhale halfway - back, neck and head aligned
in a table top position, hands resting on your
knees or calves
‣ Exhale fold forward, again folding at the hips;
neck, head and arms relaxed
‣ Inhale come up to stand arms overhead
‣ Exhale hands down by your sides
