We are so incredibly proud of our collective creation of INDIGO Yoga in Walnut Creek! We have the greatest group of teachers, gorgeous space and the most wonderful community of students, clients and musician and artists. We have had the vision for the longest time to create a space that would house intentional yoga practices, pilates training, dance and art and healing for everyone through massage, reiki, sound and music. Our space is magical and supported by our amazing group of teachers and healing practitioners. Who in addition to their classes are available for private sessions. The path to gathering our great group was 100% through personal connection. We strive to create a space where you feel taken care of, supported and uplifted. Whether you are wanting to deepen your yoga practice through meditation, asana or breath work or healing from a specific issue - we are here for you. This Friday Night! Herbal Allies for the Nervous System with Tirzah Petropulos! 🌿

Join us for a meditative journey with a select group of powerful herbal allies that support your nervous system! This class welcomes both those deeply familiar with plant medicine and those newly curious about the wisdom of herbs.

Each herb will be thoughtfully prepared and experienced in community, guided by Tirzah’s expertise as a trained herbalist. Participants are invited to slow down, settle in, and discover each plant not just as a supplement or tea, but as a living ally with its own unique gifts and spirit.

Together, the group will create a sacred space for sharing and genuine connection. Students will emerge with new insights, practical knowledge of herbal preparation, and, perhaps a few new plant allies to share this journey of life with.

*Please wear comfortable, relaxing clothes (even pajamas are ok!) Please also bring your own mug. A notebook is encouraged, and anything that will help you feel more comfortable either in spirit or in body, feel free to bring along (blankets, pillows, rocks, etc.)

About Tirzah:
Tirzah was born into a family well-versed in alternative healing and has lived a life immersed in holistic health. With a degree in biomedical science, formal herbalist training, and several yoga teacher certifications, she bridges the seen & unseen, science and spirit, to support whole-being wellness. Her teaching draws from yoga, feminine embodiment, and somatic healing practices, creating spaces of compassion, connection, and community where authentic healing and self-discovery unfold.

Just like yoga, astrology invites us to know ourselves more deeply - to find rhythm, balance and harmony with the cycles around us. It’s another pathway to awareness, reflection, intuition, and healing. 💫

Paul Bogle is leading an awesome 6-class Astrology class series starting Oct 25th! Whether you are a newbie or have some knowledge, Paul - with his fun & light-hearted way of teaching, will help you learn & understand astrology in a meaningful way. Come to one class or all six. Don't be shy!

Astrology is an ancient interpretive system passed down to us from the dawn of history. Like a cosmic mirror, the movement of the heavens dance in mysterious synchrony with our earthly existence. Astrology serves us as a decoding tool and a navigational aid in our daily lives. These days it is quick and easy to track the ever-cycling planets with the technology available in the palm of our hand!

To understand how to interpret and discern the meaning and guidance available at our fingertips we will take deep dives into the astrological archetypes. By becoming well-versed in the “music of the spheres” we also become the conductors of our own lives - reading the celestial signs for when to slow down, speed up, pause, or push powerfully for a grand finale!

This week's class: Practicing Hope: Journaling, Meditation, and Sound Bath w/ Charis Domador 💜

Hope isn’t just something we feel, it’s something we do. In this 90-minute session, we’ll explore Hope as a practice – an active way to stay grounded, steady, and connected even in uncertain times. Through guided journaling and a reflective body scan, you’ll have the opportunity to notice how Hope shows up in your body, how it shapes your actions, and how you can call on it when you most need it.

The session will conclude with a relaxing sound bath, designed to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and allow your reflections to gently integrate. No prior experience is necessary – just bring a notebook, an open heart, and a willingness to explore how Hope can guide you forward.

Charis Domador has spent the past 16 years exploring how to live with intention, drawing from the teachings of her ancestors and the insights of global philosophies. Growing up in Venezuela partly shapes the way she sees the world, and she strives to integrate timeless wisdom into the way she moves, relates, and makes choices today. Her approach to life is about honoring tradition while responding to the needs of the present, while also creating space for curiosity, growth, and connection along the way.

Come experience a Sivananda Yoga class this Saturday! ✨

Sivananda Yoga is a classical style offering a well-balanced composition of exertion and relaxation, incorporating meditation, pranayama practices, and Sun Salutations. This is followed by a sequence of asanas that target the body’s energy centers from top to bottom, leaving the practitioner with a peaceful, coherent, and connected sense of self as the class concludes with a deep relaxation exercise.

This is an all-levels class - all are welcome!
