Our Story
1) Bay Imaging Consultants (BIC) provides professional radiology services to East and North Bay hospitals. We operate and manage five MRI and CT ACR accredited outpatient-imaging centers throughout the greater East Bay. BIC also provides services to independent PET and MRI centers.
2) Our 60 board-certified radiologists went to the most respected medical schools and trained at the top academic medical centers for residency and fellowship programs. They are certified by the American Board of Radiology. Many of BIC’s physicians hold appointments at UCSF and Stanford, and are chiefs of staff at several of the hospitals they serve, bringing a wellspring of knowledge and leadership to the organization.
3) BIC delivers a full-spectrum of diagnostic imaging services and procedures, and numerous subspecialty services. Our capabilities include state-of-the-art breast imaging, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI, PET, Interventional and Neuro-Interventional, and computed tomography (CT).
4) Constant communication is imperative. We use a powerful Web-based referral management system that connects your patients, the BIC network, and you, making it easier and quicker to order exams, communicate electronically and securely, and schedule patients.
5) Our proprietary on-call teleradiology service allows referring physicians to interactively review HIPAA-secure images from scans right to your computer desktop. We also provide CDs. We guarantee prompt turnaround, a reliable network, and efficient online image transfer.
6) BIC is extremely proud of its longstanding, loyal physician and patient base. More than 900,000 exams are performed and over 300,000 patients visit – every year – and growing.
7) We are the only Radiology group in the Bay Area offering, in house, 24/7 reads which creates cohesion with report quality and content.
