I am a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician providing comprehensive personalized care to adults in the East Bay, with offices in Pittsburg and Brentwood, CA. My practice encompasses preventative care, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses, hospital care and long term care in local facilities. In addition, I have special training in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment or OMT. OMT involves using hands to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal problems as well as other health conditions such as asthma, sinus problems, migraines. Our specialists include pulmonologists, cardiologists, family physician, endocrinologist and neurologist. Being a part of a multi-specialty group enables me to access and provide specialty care in a timely and efficient manner. Our Electronic Medical Record allows me to see specialty consultations and diagnostic tests as soon as they are completed and enables me to better coordinate patient care.

Big news for women in mid-life!
The FDA has announced it will remove the longstanding "black box" warning on many hormone-based therapies used to treat peri-menopause and menopause symptoms. It's a shift toward evidence-based, individualized care.
And excited to see Dr. Rachel Rubin on this episode, who I learned from during my Menopause Certification training, and who was instrumental in leading this change.
