Dear Valued Patient,

We truly appreciate your trust in our office and want to keep you informed of an important update regarding Medicare services at our clinic.

Effective February 1, 2026, we will be implementing a change in how certain services are billed for patients who have Medicare alone or Medicare with a supplemental plan.

What Medicare Covers:

Medicare only covers chiropractic spinal manipulation (adjustments). Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover any additional services that are often part of a comprehensive chiropractic treatment plan.

At our office, we frequently include supportive therapies to help improve outcomes, reduce pain, and support healing. These services fall outside of Medicare coverage.

Services Not Covered by Medicare & Associated Fees:

The following services will have an out-of-pocket fee if you choose to receive them:

Physiotherapy services (stretching, exercising, soft tissue work, muscle blading, cupping therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, K.T. taping, normatec compression) - $40 per visit

Initial Chiropractic Examination - $100 (New Patients Only)

Therapeutic Massage - $125 per 50 min session

👉 If you have a secondary insurance, that plan may cover some or all of these services, depending on your specific benefits.
👉 If you choose to receive only chiropractic adjustments/manipulation, with no additional services, no extra charge will apply.

Why This Change Is Necessary

This was not an easy decision. However, because Medicare does not reimburse for these additional therapies, continuing to provide them at no cost is no longer sustainable. In order to fairly compensate our doctors and staff for the hands-on care they provide, these services must now be billed separately when Medicare does not cover them.

Please know this change is not about limiting your care — it’s about allowing us to continue offering high-quality, comprehensive treatment while supporting the dedicated professionals who care for you.

Our front desk team is always happy to review your insurance coverage and answer any questions you may have. We are committed to transparency and to helping you make the best decisions for your health.

Front desk will have you review and sign a required form by Medicare explaining non covered charged starting in February.

Dear Beyond Family,

We’re excited to share some great news with you! As of this year, Beyond Chiropractic is now offering Physical Therapy services provided by our licensed Physical Therapist, Lloyd.

This is an exciting addition to our clinic and allows us to expand the care we offer while helping many of our patients better utilize their health insurance benefits.

We also want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your patience as we waited for Lloyd to receive his California Physical Therapy license last year (he was previously licensed in New York). We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. Thank you as well for your patience as we navigate this exciting change and work to establish the most beneficial and efficient systems for our patients.

Here are a few important details to know:

• Physical Therapy services are separate from Chiropractic and Massage services.
• You will be able to use your Physical Therapy insurance benefits, rather than your chiropractic benefits, for P.T. visits.

Insurance Information:

• Lloyd is currently out of network with all health insurance plans; however, we do offer out-of-network billing for most PPO plans (coverage varies by individual plan).
• Lloyd is in the process of becoming in-network with Blue Shield, and we will keep you updated as that is finalized (we will continue to bill as we did last year until he is in network with B.S.)

Work Comp Patients:

• A separate authorization for Physical Therapy is required in order to be seen by Lloyd, even if you are already receiving chiropractic care.

Our goal is always to provide the most comprehensive, effective care possible, and we’re thrilled to bring Physical Therapy into our space to better support your recovery, strength, and long-term health.
If you have any questions about coverage or would like to schedule a Physical Therapy evaluation, our front desk team is happy to help.

Self Pay visits:

$155 per session ( 1 hour one on one Physical Therapy & Rehab session )
Packages of 6 & 12 are available at a lower rate.
Can use FSA/HSA
